PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR –

Tom Christopoul, 5419D Long Beach Blvd., discussed with the Board the future of the beach replenishment project in Harvey Cedars.  The borough still needs 19 easements for the project, but the Mayor has been told by the State that if Harvey Cedars had 66% of contiguous easements/public beach and there was $5 million dollars in the budget, that the project could be done here.  The Taxpayers Association supports any options (in obtaining the easements) that are in the best interest of the community.  The Mayor will be attending the DEP’s beach regulations public hearing in Stockton on Monday and the Taxpayer’s Association will be providing form letters for public input.

Motion to adjourn: Commissioner Gerkens

Second: Commissioner Garofalo

Meeting adjourned at 5:12pm.
