HARVEY CEDARS, NJ November 20, 2007
The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the Borough of Harvey Cedars, NJ was called to order by Mayor Oldham at 4:30pm who stated to the best of his knowledge all requirements of the State Sunshine Law had been met. Commissioners Gerkens and Garofalo and Board Attorney John Cerefice were present.
The Mayor asked all to rise for the Pledge of Allegiance.
Motion to approve the minutes of the previous meeting, November 2, 2007, was made by
Commissioner Gerkens, seconded by Commissioner Garofalo.
The Mayor read the following ordinance by title and number and asked for a motion to introduce.

AUTHORIZATION OF CONTRACT FOR CDL DRUG & ALCOHOL PROGRAM FOR 2008

Motion to approve the bills for payment was made by Commissioner Gerkens, seconded by Commissioner Garofalo.
REPORTS FROM COMMISSIONERS:
Mayor Oldham –
· Wished all a Happy Thanksgiving.
· The County should be issuing a traffic study report to the Borough soon. Once the report is received, the Borough will proceed with its internal study.
· Reminder to all to turn off outside showers for the winter and to secure homes if leaving for the season.
Commissioner Gerkens –
· There are only about 200 meters left to be installed.
· Requests have been received to extend the date for meter pit installations.
