HARVEY CEDARS, NJ                   SPECIAL MEETING                        May 30, 2008

The special meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the Borough of Harvey Cedars, NJ was called to order by Deputy Mayor Gerkens at 12:01pm.  Commissioners Garofalo was present, Mayor Oldham was absent.

This Special Meeting was called pursuant to the provisions of the Open Public Meetings Law.  Notices were faxed to the Asbury Park Press and Atlantic City Press on May 28, 2008 and posted on the bulletin board in the Municipal Building and the Post Office as well as on the Borough’s website.  Notices on the bulletin board and website have remained continuously posted.

The Deputy Mayor read the following ordinance by title and number and asked for a motion to introduce. 

ORDINANCE #2008-08 FIRST READING

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING CHAPTER 7 OF THE REVISED GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE BOROUGH OF HARVEY CEDARS, 1975, ENTITLED “SEWER AND WATER”, ESTABLISH ING A METER PIT INSTALLATION AND REPAIR FEE

A copy of the full ordinance as introduced is attached hereto and made a part hereof.

Motion to adopt: Commissioner Garofalo

Vote: Ayes – Gerkens, Garofalo

The Deputy Mayor read the following resolution by title only and asked for a motion to adopt.

RESOLUTION #2008-064: 

RESOLUTION OF THE BOROUGH OF HARVEY CEDARS COUNTY OF OCEAN, STATE OF NEW JERSEY TO AMEND APPROVED BUDGET IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF 40A:4-9

A copy of the resolution is attached hereto and made a part hereof.
