HARVEY CEDARS, NJ                   SPECIAL MEETING            September 22, 2008

The special meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the Borough of Harvey Cedars, NJ was called to order by Mayor Oldham at 11:00am.  Commissioners Gerkens and Garofalo were present.

This meeting was called pursuant to the provisions of the Open Public Meetings Law.  Notices were faxed to the Atlantic City Press and the Asbury Park Press on September 18, 2008 and posted on the bulletin board in the Municipal Building and the Post Office.  Notices on the bulletin board have remained continuously posted.

The Mayor read the following ordinance by title and number and asked for a motion to introduce.

ORDINANCE #2008-13 FIRST READING: 

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2 OF THE REVISED GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE BOROUGH OF HARVEY CEDARS, 1975, ENTITLED “ADMINISTRATION” “CANDIDATES FOR POLICE DEPARTMENT”

A copy of the full ordinance as introduced is attached hereto and made a part hereof.

Motion to adopt: Commissioner Garofalo

Second:  Commissioner Gerkens

Vote: Ayes – Oldham, Gerkens, Garofalo

Motion to adjourn: Commissioner Garofalo

      Second: Dep. Mayor Gerkens
