HARVEY CEDARS, NJ                                                       November 7, 2008

 

The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the Borough of Harvey Cedars, NJ was called to order by Mayor Oldham at 4:30pm who stated to the best of his knowledge all requirements of the State Sunshine Law had been met.  Commissioner Gerkens was present and Commissioner Garofalo was absent.

 

Motion to approve the minutes of the previous meeting, October 21, 2008, was made by Commissioner Gerkens.

 

The Mayor read the following ordinance by title and number and stated that proof of publication is on hand and the ordinance has been posted.

ORDINANCE #2008-17 SECOND READING

BOND ORDINANCE REAUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $821,769.26 BONDS OR NOTES OF THE BOROUGH OF HARVEY CEDARS, IN THE COUNTY OF OCEAN, NEW JERSEY TO PROVIDE FOR VARIOUS GENERAL IMPROVEMENTS PREVIOUSLY AUTHORIZED AND SUPPLEMENTING AND CONFIRMING VARIOUS BOND ORDINANCES OF THE BOROUGH

BOND ORDINANCE REAUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $484,500 BONDS OR NOTES OF THE BOROUGH OF HARVEY CEDARS, IN THE COUNTY OF OCEAN, NEW JERSEY TO PROVIDE FOR WATER/SEWER UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS PREVIOUSLY AUTHORIZED AND SUPPLEMENTING AND CONFIRMING VARIOUS BOND ORDINANCES OF THE BOROUGH

AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN INTERLOCAL MUNICIPAL AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN THE TOWNSHIP OF LONG BEACH AND THE BOROUGH OF HARVEY CEDARS, AUTHORIZING THE TOWNSHIP OF LONG BEACH TO PROVIDE INSPECTION SERVICES FOR ELECTRIC, PLUMBING AND FIRE THROUGH AN EXISTING CONTRACT AWARDED BY BID TO MUNICIPAL CODE SERVICES, INC.
