PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR –
Al Wright asked for an update on the beach project. The Mayor said it has been frustrating dealing with the appraisal process; the Army Corps’ approval (of the appraisals) is necessary for the cost sharing of the process, and the real estate must be obtained prior to opening the project bids. The Army Corps is holding up the appraisals and the bids were advertised to be opened on December 19th.
