ORDINANCE NO. 2007-14

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 13 OF THE REVISED GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE BOROUGH OF HARVEY CEDARS, 1975, ENTITLED “ZONING”

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF THE COMMISSIONERS OF THE BOROUGH OF HARVEY CEDARS, as follows:

Section 1. Section 13-12 MC, MARINE, COMMERCIAL DISTRICT, subsection 13-12.2 entitled “Principal Use and Building Permitted” is hereby supplemented as follows:

c. Haberdashery and apparel stores

d. Antique and gift shops

e. Hardware and household supply stores

f. Barber and beauty shops

g. Business and professional offices including banks and real estate offices

Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent herewith are repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.

Section 3. If any word, phrase, clause, section or provision of this ordinance shall be found by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unenforceable, illegal or unconstitutional, such word, phrase, clause, section or provision shall be severable from the balance of the ordinance and the remainder of the ordinance shall remain in full force and effect.

Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon final adoption after publication in accordance with law.

NOTICE

NOTICE is hereby given that the foregoing Ordinance was duly introduced and passed on the first reading at a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the Borough of Harvey Cedars held on July 17, 2007. Further notice is given that said Ordinance shall be considered for final passage and adoption at a regular meeting of said Board of Commissioners to be held on August 21, 2007 at 4:30pm at the Borough Hall, 7606 Long Beach Blvd., Harvey Cedars, NJ, at which time and place any person desiring to be heard will be given an opportunity to be so heard.
