ORDINANCE NO. 2009-10

AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF HARVEY CEDARS AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING CHAPTER 8 OF THE REVISED GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE BOROUGH OF HARVEY CEDARS, 1975, ENTITLED “TRAFFIC”

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE BOROUGH OF HARVEY CEDARS as follows:

Section 1.         Chapter 8 of the Borough Code of the Borough of Harvey Cedars, Section 8-3 entitled “Parking” is hereby amended and supplemented with Section 8-3.7 entitled “Trailers Prohibited” as follows:

                        8-3.7    Trailers Prohibited.  No person shall cause or permit to be parked any trailer, including but not limited to boat trailers and Jet Ski trailers, upon the following public streets and their side streets within the Borough of Harvey Cedars:

                                    Bay Terrace

                                    West 80^th Street

Section 2.         All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.

Section 3.         If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of this ordinance is for any reason held invalid or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction, such portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent provision, and such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions.

Section 4.         This Ordinance shall take effect upon final adoption after publication in accordance with law.
