RESOLUTION #2006-096

APPROVING THE BYLAWS OF THE

OCEAN COUNTY MUNICIPAL JOINT INSURANCE FUND

WHEREAS the Borough of Harvey Cedars is a member of the Ocean County Municipal Joint Insurance Fund, hereinafter referred as the “Fund”; and

WHEREAS the Fund, pursuant to NJSA 40A:10-36 et seq., has the authority to adopt rules and regulations which from time to time are reviewed and revised in the best interest of the Fund; and

WHEREAS after a public hearing conducted on August 15, 2006, the Executive Committee of the Fund adopted revised bylaws; and

WHEREAS these revised bylaws must be ratified by at least three fourths of the member towns before they can become effective.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the governing body of the Borough of Harvey Cedars, that the revised bylaws submitted to the Borough by the Ocean County Municipal Joint Insurance Fund titled “Revised Draft Dated July 19, 2006” and on file in the Borough Clerk’s office, are hereby ratified.
