RESOLUTION #2006-097

AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT WITH THE OCEAN COUNTY BOARD OF HEALTH FOR ANIMAL FACILITY SERVICES

WHEREAS the Borough of Harvey Cedars adopted Resolution #2006-018 on February 3, 2006 authorizing an Interlocal Services Agreement with Ocean County Board of Health for animal facility services; and

WHEREAS it is the desire of the Ocean County Board of Health to expand its services related to surrendered and/or seized animals brought to the facility, as well as preparation of specimens for rabies testing.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Commissioners of the Borough of Harvey Cedars hereby authorizes the attached amended agreement and fee schedule for the Ocean County Board of Health Animal Facility Services effective October 1, 2006.
