RESOLUTION #2006-119

APPOINTMENT OF JOINT ENVIRONMENTAL COMMISSION MEMBERS FOR THE BOROUGH OF HARVEY CEDARS

WHEREAS the Board of Commissioners of the Borough of Harvey Cedars adopted Ordinance No. 2004-18 on October 1, 2004 establishing the Joint Environmental Commission with the Boroughs of Ship Bottom, Surf City, Harvey Cedars, Barnegat Light and Beach Haven; and

WHEREAS the Board of Commissioners adopted Ordinance No. 2006-11 on June 20, 2006 to include the Township of Long Beach in the Joint Environmental Commission; and

WHEREAS said Ordinance requires that two (2) persons be appointed by the Mayor of each municipality, with the consent of the governing body, one of whom shall also be a member of the Planning or Land Use Board of the municipality.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the Board of Commissioners of the Borough of Harvey Cedars that the following are hereby appointed to the Joint Environmental Commission for a term of one (1) year commencing January 1, 2007 and ending December 31, 2007:

1. Robert Romano, 8603 Sandpiper Lane, Harvey Cedars.

2. Michael Garofalo, 1 East 79^th Street, Harvey Cedars.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that certified copies of this resolution be sent to the appointees and the member municipalities.
