RESOLUTION #2006-052

CERTIFYING THE BOROUGH OF HARVEY CEDARS’ 2006/2007 TAX LEVY FOR THE SOUTHERN REGIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICT

WHEREAS the voters of the Southern Regional High School District defeated the proposed budget on April 18, 2006; and

WHEREAS on May 16, 2006 the Board of Commissioners of the Borough of Harvey Cedars adopted Resolution #2006-049 certifying the general fund tax levy for the Southern Regional Board of Education for the school year 2006/2007; and

WHEREAS in addition to certifying the total tax levy for the Southern Regional School District, the Borough desires to certify its portion of the tax.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Governing Body of the Borough of Harvey Cedars hereby certifies the 2006/2007 Southern Regional School tax levy for the Borough of Harvey Cedars is $2,741,164.06.
