RESOLUTION #2006-057

AUTHORIZE APPLICATION TO NJDOT LOCAL AID PROGRAM FOR 2007 ROAD RECONSTRUCTION IMPROVEMENT PROJECT FOR A TOTAL OF $128,755.00

WHEREAS the Borough of Harvey Cedars desires to apply to the New Jersey Department of Transportation for assistance from the Transportation Trust Fund for the 2007 Road Reconstruction/Improvement Project.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Commissioners of the Borough of Harvey Cedars, County of Ocean, hereby authorize application to NJDOT Local Aid Program for the 2007 Road Reconstruction/Improvement Project for a total of $128,755.00 to include:

            1.  William Street (Long Beach Blvd. to bay)                 $73,892.50

            2.  West Salem Ave. (Long Beach Blvd. to bay)           $54,862.50

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor is hereby authorized to sign such application as necessary for approval.
