RESOLUTION #2006-059

AWARD CONTRACTS FOR POLICE DEPARTMENT COMPUTER EQUIPMENT

WHEREAS the Borough of Harvey Cedars is in need of upgrading computer equipment for the Police Department; and

WHEREAS Hewlett Packard Public Sector Sales, under State Contract No. A81249-T0483, shall provide one server and three work stations; and

WHEREAS Enforsys Software shall provide the record Management software; and

WHEREAS Eastern IT shall provide the remaining necessary software, network cables and system setup.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the governing body of the Borough of Harvey Cedars that contracts be awarded as follows:

1. Hewlett Packard Public Sector Sales in the amount of $10,547.00

2. Enforsys Software in the amount of $7,140.00

3. Eastern IT in the amount of $17,744.95 to be paid monthly in the amount of $813.72 through Marlin Leasing (not to exceed 2 years).

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certificate of availability of funds, executed by the Chief Financial Officer is annexed hereto.  The following line item appropriation constitutes the availability of funds for this contract:

01-201-44-933-030 – Capital Outlay Computers.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief Finance Officer is hereby authorized to execute contract agreements with Marlin Leasing.
