RESOLUTION #2006-075

AUTHORIZING THE TAX COLLECTOR TO CANCEL TAXES ON BOROUGH PROPERTY THAT SHOULD BE TAX EXEMPT

WHEREAS it has been brought to the attention of the Board of Commissioners of the Borough of Harvey Cedars by the Tax Collector, that property that was conveyed to the borough, and is now borough owned, should be tax exempt; and

           WHEREAS the exempt classification for these properties did not make the 2006 tax duplicate; and

           WHEREAS it is the desire of the Board of Commissioners to cancel the taxes on the property.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the Borough of Harvey Cedars, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey, that the taxes on the following properties are cancelled and that the records of the Tax Collector’s Office be adjusted to reflect the same.
