RESOLUTION #2007-014

AUTHORIZING THE BOROUGH OF HARVEY CEDARS TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH STAFFORD TOWNSHIP FOR ANIMAL CONTROL SERVICES

WHEREAS the Interlocal Services Act, NJSA 40:8A-1 et seq., authorizes interlocal government agreements for services between municipalities; and

WHEREAS the Borough of Harvey Cedars is in need of animal control services and the Township of Stafford has an animal control program.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the Borough of Harvey Cedars that the Mayor of the Borough of Harvey Cedars is authorized to enter into an animal control services contract with the Township of Stafford commencing January 1, 2007 and ending December 31, 2007.
