RESOLUTION #2007-035

AUTHORIZE EXECUTION OF CONTRACT FOR THE USE OF COPYRIGHTED MUSIC

WHEREAS the Borough of Harvey Cedars has been made aware of fees due to the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) for the use of copyrighted music at concerts or other events within governmental facilities.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the Borough of Harvey Cedars, County of Ocean, that the Municipal Clerk is hereby authorized to execute a contract with the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers for the Base License Fee of $284.00 as per the attached agreement.
