RESOLUTION #2007-047

 

AWARD CONTRACT FOR WATER METERS

 

 

            WHEREAS the Borough of Harvey Cedars solicited bids for water meters which were opened publicly on April 27, 2007 at 10:00am; and

 

            WHEREAS it is in the opinion of the Borough that the lowest qualified bid be accepted for same; and

 

            WHEREAS Water Works Supply Co., Inc. has the lowest qualified bid; and

 

            WHEREAS the Finance Officer has certified the availability of funds for this contract.

 

            NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the Borough of Harvey Cedars this 4th day of May 2007, for the reasons aforesaid, that a contract be and is hereby awarded to

                                    Water Works Supply Co., Inc.

                                    PO Box 306

                                    Pompton Plains, NJ 07444

 

for supply and delivery of water meters as per the bid specifications and contract in the amount of Two Hundred Nine Thousand One Hundred Sixty Five Dollars ($209,165.00) as per bid received.
