RESOLUTION #2007-059

AUTHORIZE WATER ACCOUNT CLOSURE AND ISSUANCE OF CREDIT

WHEREAS it has been brought to the Borough’s attention that water/sewer account #1116 (Block 66 Lot 1, 8101 Bay Terrace Garage) is a commercial metered account that also services water/sewer account #837 (Block 63 Lot 1, Kinsey Cove Island), which is a residential flat fixture account; and

WHEREAS said accounts are and have been billed separately to the same property owner.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the Borough of Harvey Cedars that the Utility Clerk is hereby authorized to close water/sewer account #837 and cancel the 2007 billed amount of $494.50 for said account.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Utility Clerk is authorized to issue credits to accounts #1116 and #1117 each for an amount equal to 1 past year of paid service for account #837.
