RESOLUTION #2007-079

AUTHORIZING THE ACTIVITY COMMITTEE TO ISSUE PROMOTIONAL ITEMS AND TO CONDUCT END OF SEASON SALES

WHEREAS Activity Committee fees are set pursuant to Section 4-7 of the General Ordinances of the Borough of Harvey Cedars; and

WHEREAS the Commissioners of the Borough of Harvey Cedars in conjunction with the Activity Committee desire to issue, donate or distribute certain items free of cost for promotional reasons and to divest inventory by reducing prices.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the Borough of Harvey Cedars as follows:

1. That the Activity Committee may distribute any item for sale free of cost for promotional reasons upon receiving written authorization from a Commissioner of the Borough of Harvey Cedars.

2. That the Activity Committee is authorized to sell its previous year’s inventory at the following prices:

· Fireworks T-shirts for $10.00

· Tank Tops $6.00 each

3. That the Activity Committee members are authorized to negotiate prices at its discretion based on quantity of purchase or quality of item.

4. That said prices shall commence at the Blue Claw Craft Show and shall continue until inventory has been depleted.
