RESOLUTION #2007-081

AUTHORIZING REFUND OF TENNIS COURT FEES

WHEREAS Carol Murphy, 8004 Bay Terrace, on June 16, 2007 paid in advance $360.00 for the reservation of 2 tennis courts for 2 hours each on Tuesdays beginning July 3, 2007 through August 28, 2007; and

WHEREAS it rained on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 and the tennis courts were not utilized, therefore Ms. Murphy requested a refund; and

WHEREAS it is in the opinion of the Borough that said fees should be refunded.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the Borough of Harvey Cedars to issue a refund in the amount of $40.00 to Carol Murphy, 8004 Bay Terrace, upon receipt of a properly executed payment voucher.
