DESIGNATING PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR SPECIAL COUNSEL
WHEREAS the Board of Commissioners of the Borough of Harvey Cedars, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey has determined that it should hire a special counsel for legal issues relating to the Long Beach Island beach replenishment project; and
WHEREAS said contracts for professional services need not be bid under the Local Public Contract Law of the State of New Jersey.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the Borough of Harvey Cedars that James Aaron, Esquire, of the firm

is hereby appointed Special Counsel for the Borough of Harvey Cedars, upon receipt of properly executed State mandated disclosure forms, commencing immediately at an hourly rate of $175.00 per the attached copy of the engagement letter.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Municipal Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a contract with said firm.
