RESOLUTION #2007-119

CONTRACT AWARD FOR A SURF RAKE

WHEREAS the Borough of Harvey Cedars solicited bids on November 29, 2007 for a beach cleaning surf rake; and

WHEREAS it is in the opinion of the Borough that the lowest qualified bid be accepted for same; and

WHEREAS Davis Equipment Sales, Inc. has the lowest qualified bid; and

WHEREAS the Chief Financial Officer has certified the availability of funds for this contract.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the Borough of Harvey Cedars this 17^th day of December 2007, for the reasons aforesaid, that a contract be and is hereby awarded to:

                                    Davis Equipment Sales, Inc.

                                    PO Box 607

                                    Atlantic Highlands, NJ 07716

for a Barber Surf Rake in an amount not to exceed Forty Eight Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty Six Dollars ($48,966.00) as per bid received on November 29, 2007.
