Governor Chris Christie has declared a State of Emergency for Ocean, Atlantic and Cape May Counties in preparation for this weather event.

We do expect the weather to significantly deteriorate over the next 24-48 hours.
We do expect the weather to significantly deteriorate over the next 24-48 hours.
Moderate back bay flooding is expected which will persist through Wednesday. Strong winds, rain and power outages are also expected effects of the storm. Due to the sustained north east winds, the water is expected to back up in the bays and successive tides will be higher. Don’t forget to move all vehicles to higher ground and secure all loose outdoor items.
For emergencies dial 9-1-1. We ask that you limit your phone calls to the police department to emergency calls ONLY. Monitor all local media outlets (which includes our Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts) for storm updates. We will send updates as necessary.
