STATE OF EMERGENCY MESSAGE

In response to the COVID19 outbreak, effective today, Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at 12:00pm, the Borough of Harvey Cedars declared a State of Emergency. 

This declaration was made in solidarity with all LBI towns due to the seriousness of the event.  This declaration will better enable the Borough to protect and serve its residents through resource allocation, suspending local laws, ordinances or regulations which might prevent necessary action in dealing with a disaster, future reimbursements related to any expenditures made in response to this outbreak etc.  We remind everyone to adhere to the national, state and local authorities’ recommendations and orders.
