BOROUGH OF HARVEY CEDARS
ORDINANCE NO. 2026-14
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 19 (“STREETS AND SIDEWALKS”), SECTION §19-1 OF THE CODE OF THE BOROUGH OF HARVEY CEDARS TO ADD CURB-TO-CURB RESTORATION REQUIREMENTS FOR STREET OPENINGS
Public Notice is hereby given that the foregoing Ordinance was introduced and passed on the first reading at a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the Borough of Harvey Cedars, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey, held on Monday, April 20, 2026 at 4:30pm.
During the week prior to and up to and including the date of such meeting copies of the full ordinance will be available at no cost and during regular business hours, at the Clerk’s office for the members of the general public who shall request the same or by emailing clisiewski@harveycedars.org.
The purpose of this section is to preserve the integrity and useful life of public streets, to protect prior public investments in paving, and to ensure that openings in paved roadways are restored to a condition equal to or better than that existing prior to the work.
Further public notice is hereby given that said ordinance shall be considered for final passage and adoption at a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners to be held on Monday, May 18, 2026 at 4:30pm at the Borough Hall, 7606 Long Beach Blvd., Harvey Cedars, NJ 08008, at which time and place any person to be heard will be given an opportunity to be so heard.
