BOROUGH OF HARVEY CEDARS
ORDINANCE NO. 2026-12
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED, “CODE OF THE BOROUGH OF HARVEY CEDARS, COUNTY OF OCEAN, STATE OF NEW JERSEY, (1997)” IN CHAPTER 8, WHICH PERTAINS TO TRAFFIC, AND CHAPTER 13, WHICH PERTAINS TO ZONING
Public Notice is hereby given that the foregoing Ordinance was introduced and passed on the first reading at a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the Borough of Harvey Cedars, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey, held on Monday, March 16, 2026 at 4:30pm.
During the week prior to and up to and including the date of such meeting copies of the full ordinance will be available at no cost and during regular business hours, at the Clerk’s office for the members of the general public who shall request the same or by emailing clisiewski@harveycedars.org.
The purpose of this Ordinance is to amend Chapter 8 to amend the penalties relating to parking violations and amend Chapter 13 to amend the regulations relating to private rights of way, easements, flag lots, restaurants in the limited commercial district, zoning permit regulations, and outdoor music at business establishments.
Further public notice is hereby given that said ordinance shall be considered for final passage and adoption at a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners to be held on Monday, April 20, 2026 at 4:30pm at the Borough Hall, 7606 Long Beach Blvd., Harvey Cedars, NJ 08008, at which time and place any person to be heard will be given an opportunity to be so heard.
