Public Hearing on a Proposed Contract with USG Water Solutions
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON A PROPOSED CONTRACT WITH USG WATER SOLUTIONS FOR A TWENTY-YEAR, FULL-SERVICE AND ASSET MANAGEMENT
AGREEMENT FOR THE WATER STORAGE VESSEL LOCATED
IN THE BOROUGH OF HARVEY CEDARS
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Borough of Harvey Cedars (“Borough”) shall hold a municipal consent hearing on Monday, June 15, 2026, at 4:30pm in the courtroom located at the Borough Municipal Building located at 7606 Long Beach Boulevard, Harvey Cedars, New Jersey 08008.
This hearing will be held for the purpose of receiving public input and comment regarding the Borough’s intent to enter into a contract with USG Water Solutions for a twenty-year, full-service and asset management agreement for the water storage vessel located in the Borough. The proposed contract is available for public inspection in the Office of the Borough’s Municipal Clerk between the hours of 8:30am-4:00pm, Monday through Friday, excepting holidays, located at the above address. No concession fee or monetary benefit will be paid by any private firm to the Borough as a result of the contract. No monetary amount of any fee or benefit will be paid by the water users in the jurisdiction or the service area. No monetary amount of any fee or benefit will impact the rates or fees on the charges, rates, or fees paid for the supply of water by water users in the jurisdiction or service area that receive water supply services. The proposed contract relates to the maintenance of the water storage vessel and does not relate to water supply services.
The public hearing will be transcribed by a court reporter and the public hearing shall be kept open for a period of seven (7) days following the conclusion of the hearing, during which time interested parties may submit written statement to be included in the hearing report. Following the hearing, the Borough shall prepare a written hearing report and request formal approval from the appropriate State agencies to enter the contract.
